Les Grant
Jazz singer, guitarist, entrepreneur, actor, and writer LES GRANT has appeared in off-Broadway and regional theatre, commercials, voiceovers, and independent films. He was born in Guilford Connecticut, and attended Circle in the Square's Musical Theatre Program in NYC. His one-person show, Lonesome When You Go, was featured at both the Pulse Ensemble Theatre's OPAL series and the NBC network's PSNBC program. Les studied acting at the Wilma Theatre and performed with the University of Pennsylvania's award-winning Counterparts vocal jazz ensemble.
Les is the co-founder of MedPricer.com, an innovative healthcare esourcing service, and served as COO for 6 years, closing two rounds of venture funding and working with many of the top health systems in the United States.
Les recently finished his second Jazz CD and performs frequently with his band, the Les Grant 5, in and around New York City. The LG5 features some of the best young jazz musicians in the city, and performs innovative and soulful interpretations of jazz, blues and pop standards.
